On behalf of the rest of us here at Gods Playing Poker, best wishes for a Happy New Year and apologies for the sorry lack of comic today. We did our best to get Slappy conscious and coherent enough to draw a comic today, but his New Years celebrations started about Friday of last week, and only finally tapered off into disheveled snoring early Wednesday morning. His personal assistant tried dousing him with coffee, with remarkably little success. The cold shower regime has started, however, and it is our fondest hope that we can have him back at his drawing table in time for a belated Friday comic.
