		<description>I can&#039;t think of any really famous Dawkins quotemines, but there is a Darwin one that&#039;s quite well-known:

Darwin wrote that &quot;To suppose that the eye [...] could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.&quot;

Most people who quote that, stop right there, and don&#039;t include the next line: &quot;When it was first said that the sun stood still and the world turned round, the common sense of mankind declared the doctrine false&quot;

In other words, just because something sounds weird doesn&#039;t mean it&#039;s not true.</description>
